1.1. Registering as a participant To participate, you must register on our platform: via the website www.beyondbruges.be or via the Beyond Bruges app, which can be found in the Play Store and Apple Store. This creates an account for you and allows you to be identified as a unique participant. Then, you can start using your Bryghia. We collect the personal identity information (name, first name) and email address of each user.

1.2. Sending newsletters, invitations, notifications To keep you informed about activities and actions related to Beyond Bruges, we send newsletters, invitations, and notifications to your email address. 1.3. Use of the platform and website Our platform and website use cookies. Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. We use cookies to map website traffic. This involves anonymous statistics from which the identity of an individual visitor cannot be traced. They help us continuously improve this website and our services. Functional cookies remember your preferences and help improve the browsing experience. We keep the use of cookies to a minimum.

1.4. Conducting research and evaluating the use of Bryghia To investigate the effect of Bryghia and what it depends on, we collect additional data from participants:

·      Qualitative data: responses to surveys we send out

·      Quantitative data: user transaction data, user balances, user activity levels

This data is always processed anonymously.

With whom do we share your personal data?

To provide our services, we only share data with trusted partners with whom Legends vzw has concluded a data processing agreement. We only share the data necessary to perform the service. At no time do we sell or rent your personal data to third parties. We also never pass on your contact details to third parties for commercial purposes.

How long do we keep the collected data?

We do not retain personal data longer than necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was provided, considering the period necessary to meet legal requirements. We keep data for the use of our newsletter until you unsubscribe. Each newsletter contains a link that allows you to unsubscribe immediately. If you fully unsubscribe from the Beyond Bruges initiative, all your personal data will be deleted immediately. Please note: any balance you have will also expire.
